This classic wet-hulled Sumatra is produced in the Karo Highlands region of North Sumatra, bordering on the Aceh province, and exemplifies all the qualities we love about coffees from this origin. Brown sugar sweetness balances out a distinctly savory flavor profile, with hints of black pepper and herbs. This Sumatra offering is especially differentiated by its subtle but distinct tasting note of chocolate covered cherry within that savory character. A rich satisfying cup that will appease drinkers of both medium and darker roasts, despite its more gentle medium roast profile.
